EXPRESSIVE ART THERAPY
Below are some of the art work I used to help my clients as an additional tool for expressing their emotions. Clients were encouraged to use art as a medium for connecting with their inner-self, using different art materials in self-expression such as crayons, watercolors, glitter, gold flakes, feathers, glue-guns etc. Different topics were given each week. The clients then expressed their stories and their intentions through in the paintings examples of each weeks topics includes: Happy Place * Distorted Face of Addiction * Path to Recovery * Assigning Colors to emotions and express them * Black out Poetry * My Rock Bottom Moment.
